Alberta Mentor Foundation for Youth (AMFY) is dedicated to helping you be your best by matching you up with a caring adult mentor. “You learn to become a better person and discover the value of friendship, trust and life.” - AMFY student protege Mentoring is fun - With a mentor you get to experience new things, explore new worlds, and have a new outlook on life.
- Mentoring gives you a break in the school day to focus on yourself.
- You and your mentor will have a choice about what you do during your mentoring hour.

YOU are important. A mentor will consistently be there for you and will accept you for who you are. If you are interested in having a mentor, please talk to your guidance counsellor about joining the AMFY program. Your guidance counsellor will work with AMFY staff to find you the right mentor. Parental permission is needed to join the program. |
